Welcome to BMAC

We are at the core of a pulsating collective known as the Black Male Artist Collective, or BMAC, where we stand united as creatives- Matthew Parker, Stanley Dominique, & Trevis Brooks—in a brotherhood of artistry. We identify as Black men with a mission, having launched this movement in 2018 to shake the foundations of the art world.

Our collective serves as a megaphone for self-identifying Black male artists, amplifying our narratives through visual, literary, and performance arts. Our passion lies in our renowned art and activism series, where we spark conversations and confront norms. We take pride in curating pop-up exhibits and displays, providing first-time exhibitors who share our identity with a spotlight to dazzle and an arena to make their mark. We dismantle barriers and weave new threads of opportunity and artistic liberation.

Our current project-Black Fatherhood Photo Project-serves as a echo to highlight the everyday positives that denounce the negative stereotypes of black fatherhood. Giving visual representation of black joy thru images of fathers and families that identify as black.

Delve into our journey, embrace our vision, witness our achievements; each stroke of creativity contributes to the tapestry of BMAC.

Forge your narrative; unapologetically authentic. Your uniqueness shapes our collective voice, echoing amidst the digital realm.
